A Senior Connection LLC is a no cost service for Seniors and their families living in the greater Denver metro area.

We provide a "hands-on" service that assists in finding alternative living situations for those who are unable to continue living in their homes, or are looking for an Independent, maintenance free setting.

We serve adult children along with the seniors in the process of a living transition. Keeping in mind the care and medical needs, ideal geographical preferences and financial situation.

Independent Living Communities

Independent living services and amenities are designed to make things easier and more convenient for residents. Typically, housekeeping, linen service, dining plans, transportation services, security and an abundance of social activities are common in these types of communities. Amenities often include a fitness center, pools, dining venues, beauty [barber salons, art studios or crafting rooms, and entertainment spaces, game rooms or movie theaters.

Independent residential communities offer an active lifestyle and freedom from the tasks home maintenance.

Assisted Living Communities

Assisted living communities provide residents with personalized care in either a residential, or an apartment style type setting. They're for seniors whose health or wellbeing requires a higher level of support, which is determined through a health assessment by the community according to state regulations.

Assisted living also provides a healthy lifestyle and social engagement.

The most common assisted living services offered include medication management and assistance with using the bathroom, dressing and grooming. Housekeeping, meals, laundry and transportation services, as well as social programs and activities. Staff is available 24/7 to help with safety, care and support. Residents are encouraged to bring furniture and personal items to make their new home feel like home.

Residents are assessed when they move in, so they can get an individualized service plan to meet specific needs and make their care truly personal.

Memory Care Communities (Alzheimer's/Dementia)

Memory Care addresses the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease, dementia and cognitive impairments. These communities are considered a "Secured Environment" Typically staff are specially trained in the areas of Alzheimer's and dementia.

24/7 oversight, assistance with all activities of everyday living, meals, housekeeping, laundry, medication management and daily activities with a more structured setting are usually found in these communities.

Nursing Care Communities

A nursing home is a licensed facility that offers on-site skilled care for those who need a higher level of care than an assisted living community is able provide.

Skilled nursing staff typically include RNs, LPNs and certified nurse aides who are available 24/7 to provide injections, monitoring of medical equipment and medications, wound care as well as 2+ person assistance with all activities of daily living.

These communities do have private rooms (Although usually limited in numbers) The majority of the rooms are a shared room.

Housekeeping, meals, laundry, social activities, and a much higher level of care are commonly found at these communities.
